Construction
Superb craftsmanship
The individual parts of the Lake Constance are cold-moulded under vacuum in female forms assembled over a jig. This mode of lightweight construction is also used in producing other components. It is a process that guarantees a very stable and long-lasting product. The Lake Constance, which weighs 1350 kg, is a uniquely lightweight craft for her size. This advantage is apparent in the higher performance and, at the same time, it achieves a considerably longer range with a minimal amount of fuel used.
Swiss Quality
The epoxy resin lamination and the coating inside and out give the boat durable protection. For the ideal care of the high quality varnish, only a micro-fibre cloth and a little water are necessary, particularly as the whole construction has been built so that no uncontrollable dirt can be collected. In this way, any rotting of the valuable wood is avoided and especially high durability can be achieved.
